Tom's venue..
keyboard, piano and background vocals
Tom Brislin, hailing from a little-known place called Dunellen, New Jersey, is the youngest
of the three newest members of The Neverland Express,
and is very quickly showing himself to be an excellent addition. His passion for the keyboard is evident in his style and flair! A child prodigy of classical piano, Tom started playing in rock bands when he was ten years old.
He has emerged as a multi-talented musician, having performed with jazz saxophonist Michael Brecker, pop singer Jill Sobule, Glen Burtnick, and Fred Schneider of the B-52's. These varied influences have been part of the creation of the refined, but temperamental style Tom is becoming well known for.
He has also emerged as a singer/songwriter, and currently, has formed his own band, based in New Brunswick, NJ, called "You Were Spiraling"... an experimental rock band with jazz and avant-garde influences.
Tom's own style of music is quite a bit different from what we would expect from Meat Loaf...but in his versatility, is able to make the music of The Neverland Express, his own.
The band has an excellent, newly designed web site that can be found
by clicking HERE!!
You can learn more about Tom and his many talents there, and get to know the other members of "You Were Spiraling"..
