PATTI'S NEWS!!!!
Patti got back in the states a couple of days ago, after being in europe the last 4 months with Meat Loaf on tour..on her off days she wrote and demoed 8 songs for her solo project which she is really excited about...also look for her with Meat Loaf on VH-1's "Hard Rock Live" early in
June....

Patti, (a.k.a. "Ms. Mississip") once a hairdresser, was
hired by Meat Loaf just prior to
the Bat 2,
"Everything Louder" world tour. Undoubtedly,
everyone has heard the story of how Meat
hired Patti after she thought she blew the auditition and
kicked the bus...but it's important to know that Meat
realized he needed a good "sparring partner" for songs like
"Paradise", "I Would Do Anything For Love" and
"Life Is A Lemon"..and Patti's spunk won out!!
She was born in Jersey but raised in upstate New York.
Having one older sister, she is the youngest of her family.
As a child she sang in her school choir and had
many musical influences such as..
Rock
Ethnic
Pop
..but she feels her music to be very ethnic. Being
multi-lingual, she has sung in several different languages..
Greek,
Italian, Spanish, Portuguese.
Being able to sing in these different languages has kept
Patti very busy! She sings demos and jingles in the
United States and around the world. She has worked with
Nile Rogers as well as Dick Clark productions and has
her own solo album to her credit. She has been trying her
hand at song writing lately, and doing some solo work, in
hopes of another feature album. She has rejoined The
Neverland Express in promoting the new CD, but just before
this she was performing some of her own work with her
former group, "Yazmin".
All signs point to the fact that when Patti sings..whether
it's with The Neverland Express, Yazmin, or solo, she is
singing to all her Yazmin fans who have remained loyal,
not only to her, but to the group.
Yazmin, meaning "peace, love and happiness",
is an alternative band who's members include..
